We offer a unique dining experience, allowing you to craft your own bowl, burrito, or toast with flavors from popular destinations around the world. Our menu will feature popular cuisines such as Greek, Mexican, Peruvian, Cuban, Korean, and other beloved culinary traditions, each with unique ingredients that set them apart and make every dish a distinctive experience. We use the freshest ingredients, cook without seed oils, and avoid frying foods, opting instead for methods like using cast iron pans to maintain a focus on healthy cooking. We prioritize non-GMO produce and organic options whenever possible to cater to vegan, gluten-free, and all dietary preferences.
In addition to our delicious meals, we’ll offer cold-pressed juices and nourishing protein smoothies, perfect for gym-goers and athletes who need precise portions to fuel their performance.
While our restaurant is in the works, you can catch a taste of what’s to come with our food truck, serving San Marcos, CA, and surrounding areas of San Diego. Our truck provides a preview of the globally-inspired meals and refreshing beverages you’ll find at our brick-and-mortar location.

Our Story
Our story at A Lo Fresco is deeply intertwined with our family's journey and our evolving approach to food. Our roots trace back to observing our mother in the kitchen from 2005 onwards. While the meals she prepared were filled with love and tradition, they didn’t always reflect the health-conscious choices we now champion.
It wasn’t until our parents faced serious health challenges that we began to truly understand the impact of our food choices. After our mother’s battle with cancer in 2019 and the subsequent loss of our father in 2020, we were compelled to reevaluate and transform our approach to eating. Their struggles with health issues and lifestyle led us to embrace a more conscious, health-focused way of living.
In 2016, we began this transformation by launching our food truck, a step towards sharing our new vision of nutritious, wholesome food with the community. By 2018, we opened our first brick-and-mortar restaurant, further extending our commitment to healthy dining.
Now, through A Lo Fresco, we’re excited to offer a menu that celebrates whole foods and global flavors, inspired by our journey and the lessons we've learned. Our goal is to provide nourishing options that promote a vibrant and mindful lifestyle.
